San Fermin Bull Run Pamplona 061.jpg
San Fermin, July. Pamplona : People celebrate while brandishing the traditional red bandana, on July 6 every year during the Chupinazo, the beginning of the San Fermin Fair where more than a million people are expected, including those who will take their chances in the bull run. Participants run with fighting bulls during a San Fermin bull run in Pamplona. On each day of the San Fermin festival six bulls are released at 8:00 a.m. (0600 GMT) to run from their corral through the narrow, cobbled streets of the old navarre town over an 850-meter (yard) course. Ahead of them are the runners, who try to stay close to the bulls without falling over or being gored. Photo: Ander Gillenea.
