A group of "Joaldun"  attend the carnival carrying sheep furs and big cowbells on their backs on January 27, 2014 at the village of Ituren, Basque Country. Joaldun groups perform an ancient traditional carnival at the villages of Ituren and Zubieta during two days, carrying sheep furs and big cowbells in their backs and making sound them in order to wake up the earth, to ask for a good new year, a good harvest and also to keep away the bad spirits.
